We are in Nelson NZ at the top of the South Island. Nelson is a provincial town/city with great access to the outdoors, walking tracks such as the Abel Tasman or Queen Charlotte, and the sea with all its activities. Nelson also has a number of festival series, theatre, music, film and so depending on when you come there will a variety of entertainment available.
Our home is (100m?) up a hill overlooking the Tasman Bay and the Tahunanui beach area. The sunset and snowcapped peaks across the bay are pictures from our deck. The last 2 pictures in the series are views from a nearby walking track to give an idea of what the nearby tracks and coastline looks like.
From our house you can easily walk to shops, restaurants, pubs. The town centre is 5-10 min by car or 20 min by bicycle. Also at hand is the railway reserve cycle track, and any number of walking trails both short and long.
We would be happy to take care of any pets during exchange. We have 3 chooks which free range the hillside but need pellets refilled and egg collection.
