Stay in our hip, happening Lower East Side New York apartment while we stay at your place in Melbourne. Spacious (by NY standards: 1000+ sq ft), quiet (also by NY standards). Surrounded by trees, sit in the window seat and sip your morning coffee as you watch the squirrels scamper and the street come to life. The apartment sleeps up to 5 people (if one of them can sleep in a crib). Otherwise, it sleeps 2 adults on the queen bed in the parents’ room and 2 children on the junior (low) bunk bed in the kids’ room (the lower bunk is suitable for a younger child). Large country wood dining table and lots of books. We’d prefer a kosher or vegetarian swap if possible.

Subway and buses around the corner. World-famous restaurants and galleries within walking distance. Two private playgrounds in our complex alone and many more in the surrounding blocks. Lots of water play for kids. Walking distance to Fourth of July fireworks viewing. Reach a bank, post office, library, supermarket, subway station and much more without even crossing the street. A few blocks from the Manhattan bikeway and pedestrian walkway along the East River. Near South Street Seaport. Walk across the Williamsburg Bridge. non-smokers
