Our house is a perfect holiday home for a family who wants to experience Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. Here you’ll find the castles of the Danish queen and Shakespeares Hamlet, be able to walk in the foot-steps of H.C. Andersen and – in early July – enjoy the Copenhagen Jazz Festival.
Take the metro and reach downtown with TIVOLI and the little mermaid in 12 min. or the beach in half an hour. But really you might want to use our bikes to get around (as Danes do!).

Our house is situated in a quiet and friendly neighbourhood, with local shopping facilities within 5 min walking distance. Enjoy the Nordic “light nights” in our lovely garden, and have breakfast at the terrace. (In Denmark it never gets really dark in the summer – and July is especially pleasant with long and usually warm (around 80 F), sunny days)

The house itself is a two-family house and home of Mette, 43 and editor at Politiken, a leading Danish newspaper, Jon, 40 and ceo at a Danish new media industry organisation, and our three boys Frederik (16), Malthe (13) and Osvald (7).
