We offer a lovely detached 4 level home in a quiet, leafy spot in Wallisellen just north of Zürich city. As we are a family with children: a 4 year and a 15 month old, we, therefore, wish to exchange with other families with children.

ON OUR DOORSTEP: A large outdoor Water World is a 10 minute walk, super for the kids in Summer, indoor swimming pool too and diving pool, wellness center with massage and beauty treatments, càfe/restaurant. An impressive large park is 5 minute’s walk which has an ice skating rink (October to February), ice hockey, football pitch, athletics track, skate boarding park, restaurant and café. Just behind the winter park are country walking and cycling paths that lead into the forest. For little children we have 2 excellent play parks: one at the end of our road and the other 5 minute's walk. We have a small corner supermarket at the end of our street that has a bakery and an excellent cheese counter, great for early morning croissants and fresh bread.

ZÜRICH IS 12 MINUTES BY TRAIN and there are 4 trains an hour. Wallisellen train station is an 8 minute walk or you can catch a bus around the corner that takes you there in 2 minutes. Your train ticket will also cover you on all trams, boats and buses within the Zurich zone. Zürich Zoo is an easy 15 minute's drive. The beautiful lake of Greifensee is a 12 minute drive and is a lovely place for walking, swimming, inline skating, cycling, boat trips or a picnic on the lakeside beach. Further a field: Ski resorts and mountains are plentiful and are in easy reach from us - only 45 minute's or up to 2 hours drive depending on where you wish to go. Germany is 25 to 40 minute's drive and the beautiful Rhine falls on the border are well worth a visit. You can use our camping equipment if you fancy a few nights in natural mountain or lake-side surroundings. If shopping is for you then you are spoiled for choice - the large shopping center: Glattzentrum, with free parking, is 2 minute's drive from the house. It has everything from fashion shops, jewellers, càfes and restaurants. Zürich Old town is very special with its small shops, restaurants, cobbled streets and càfes. On the other side of the river Limmat, you'll find little streets with designers shops and the larger modern department stores on Bahnhofstrasse.

AIRPORT IS 5 KM and we have easy access via the airport bus which you can get 5 minutes walk from the house and only takes 15 minutes to the airport, Taxi is 10 minutes drive.. alternatively you can get the train but one change is required. We have lots of maps, excursion info, all train/bus timetables, day trip suggestions for you when you arrive. Anything you need to know, please just ask - we answer all mails :)
