Explore everything the Bay Area has to offer from our North Berkeley home. Kids will enjoy the playground and indoor public swimming pool just minutes away. A Second outdoor public swimming pool, with water slide and deck chairs is just a short drive away. We are located close to the University of California Campus. Cultural opportunities abound in this area: Jazz at Yoshi's, indoor theatre at the Berkeley Rep, outdoor Shakespeare at Orinda's Cal. Shakes. Take in a performance @ Zellerbach Theatre on the U.C. Campus. See flamenco @ Cafe de la Paz. Jump on the BART train and explore San Francisco (just 45 minutes away.) While ther, visit the Ferry Building, take a cable car ride, visit Alcatraz, enjoy a Bay Cruise. Dine at some of California's best restaurants, or shop with the chefs at local farmers' markets and cook up a storm at home. Visit the de Jung museum and the Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco. Enjoy warm weather in the wine country...just 1-1/2 hours away. Visit West Marin and see the Elk Reserve (a nature-lovers paradise.)
