2200 sq ft custom rancher on a ½ acre nicely landscaped lot located in Saratoga Beach (http://www.vancouverisland.com/Regions/towns/?townID=63) in the Comox Valley. Our home is three houses away from the beach and 30 minutes, by car, from Mount Washington Ski Resort (www.mountwashington.ca).
Within 30 minutes driving distance you can find just about any outdoor activity imaginable, from beautiful beach walking to climbing the Comox Glacier, fly fish the Oyster River or the beach, swim with the salmon in the Campbell River, visit the grizzlies in Bute inlet, whale watching, golfing, bicycling....
Further afield there is world class hiking, the West Coast and Cape Scott Trails, extensive cave systems, Strathcona Park, Desolation Sound and islands and small towns to explore.
Or you could just stroll down to the beach and watch the world go by.
