Beautiful, serene, perfect weather, 10 minutes to San Isidro de El General, Perez Zeledon, Costa Rica.

Home is of rare hardwoods, stone, chalet, with 2 huge bedrooms, one downstairs, one upstairs which also has an office with balcony and view over the river. We have 'Jiron' beds, best made in Costa Rica, and also 2 other beds for children or young adult. We have washer/dryer new. Pots and pans and dishes. Dining room, kitchen, patio overlooking river, large playing field, Rancho for BBQ, workshop area, storage, and extra guest house (which may be occupied at time of exchange).

We are located 10 minutes from San Isidro de El General which is a large mountain town. From there it is 40 min. to the beach for surfing, canopy tours, fishing. On the way there are horseback tours to the high waterfalls, and reptile museaum. Rainforest region, howler monkeys, tucans, bars and restaurants at the beach. To sleep at the beach is hot, and damp, but good for day trips. At our home you are dry, comfy, secure, and at peace.

40 minutes in the other direction puts you at Mt.Chirripo National Park...highest peak in the country, and spectacular views of the valley and Rio Chirripo. There you will find great hiking and hot water springs. Again, good for day trips, but you will be glad to return to your wonderful peaceful chalet.

This home is centrally located, convenient to all your needs, while at the same time, private and secluded. Simply swinging in the hammock above the river, watching rare birds and listening to the river sounds, can be the moment of your life to relax, enjoy, reflect and be at peace.
