Our home is a 1922 bungalow that was recently remodeled to add a second story and a beautiful kitchen. There are 4 bedrooms, including a master suite with private bathroom, two additional bedrooms upstairs sharing a full bathroom, and a 4th bedroom downstairs currently used as a playroom for our daughter. We have a large grassy garden and a welcoming front porch for outside living. In summer, we have raspberries and figs to pick in the garden, as well as a small vegetable patch and herb garden.

We live in southeast Portland in a quiet residential neighborhood that is quite close to great boutique shopping, restaurants, and gourmet/organic grocery stores. Some of Portland's best coffee is right around the corner at Stumptown, and we regularly walk up Mt Tabor for views of Mt Hood and downtown Portland. Our neighborhood is very bike friendly, and two bus lines run close to our home. Downtown attractions and shopping are a 20 minute bike ride away, or 10 minutes by car. Mt Hood National Forest with hiking, lakes, camping, and much more is an hour's drive, and the scenic Oregon coast is 90 minutes away.

The market around the corner was recently profiled in Sunset Magazine: http://www.sunset.com/travel/local-food-shops-00418000079104/page21.html

On our street we have excellent neighbors who will be happy to offer advice or answer any questions! We also have camping equipment available to borrow should you want to explore the mountains.
