Our much loved home situated on the North Shore of Auckland City, is clean and well appointed, it gets morning and afternoon sun and is light and airy. It has two living areas with an open plan kitchen/dining area opening up to a wrap around deck. There are 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have Queen size beds, the third bedroom/study is smaller with a single bed. The kitchen is well appointed with Fridge, freezer, dishwasher and everything you need. We have a large automatic washing machine and a dryer as well as outside washing line. We have two TV's with Sky(cable tv) and fast broadband internet(please bring own laptop)
We are keen gardeners and our home is nestled between large tree ferns, in a quiet street and has a secluded back yard with a large deck(including a covered area) with barbeque facilities. We love nature and have water and feeding stations for birdlife in our front and back garden. We enjoy lovely urban views with a peep of the see and views to Rangitoto Island.Our house is situated in a tranquil, safe part of the North Shore of Auckland city and is ideal as a base for exploring the surrounding attractions or just to relax and unwind in our beautiful garden.
Very reliable public transport is a few minute's walk away and it is easy to access the motorway from our home. You are spoilt for choice with several beautiful, safe beaches within walking distance or a 5minute drive away. There are several excellent golf courses in close vicinity and if you are a keen tramper, there are numerous tramping trails in and around Auckland. You could take a ferry to Waiheke Island and Explore the wineries and beaches or ferry to Rangitoto Island for a tramping trip, another option is to ferry to Tiritiri Matangi – another Island and a Bird Sanctury.
Westfield Mall, offering excellent shopping and restaurants are less than 10minutes from our home. While in New Zealand, you must visit Rotorua with it’s famous Geo thermal activities. New Zealand is the ideal country to visit if you have teenagers, since there are great adventure tourism activities on offer. Auckland City centre is a 20 minute drive, with lots of restaurants, shopping and night life. The famous Sky Tower offers great restaurants – including the revolving restaurant with spectacular views of the city and beyond. For the more adventurous there is the option of a bungy jump from the Sky Tower!
