Welcome to our listing. We are a family of 6 with 4 beautiful and well behaved children ranging in age from newborn to 10. We are originally from Australia having moved to the UK in 2001. We frequently go back and forth on holiday's however we are at that stage of our lives where we are deciding if we want to return permanently to Australia in 2014 and to aid in this decision making process, we would like to spend between 4-6 months in the second half of 2013 in Australia. We are looking for 2-3 months in Sydney from Jul-Sept and then a further 2-3 months in Brisbane or possibly the Gold Coast (we have lots of family on the Gold Coast). This should be enough time to decide if we want to return permanently in 2014 - big decisions!! Obviously, this will involve at least two coordinated exchanges so we are hopeful.

In terms of our home, it really is something. It is situated in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside in a town called Harpenden. Harpenden is an exclusive village that is on the commuter belt with London. Homes in the area are valued at between GBP£400k and GBP£4m so it is exclusive. It is a 30 minute train trip in to London which is a huge bonus.

Our home has been extensively redeveloped in 2011 and has 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen with every appliance imaginable, utility room, sitting room, large garden with CCTV coverage and lounge room that converts in to a cinema room with a 7:1 B&W sound system. Each room has an iPad/iPhone controlled sound system with literally millions of songs that feed through our online service. We also have a home office with ultra fast fibre optic broadband. The entire downstairs area has underfloor heating as well as the upstairs bathrooms. Basically, it is an executive home with gadgets everywhere.

As we have children, we have many toys, games and sport equipment to keep youngsters occupied - it will be a dream come true for many children especially if they are active. We have bikes and a toddler trailer which are great to explore the miles of bike tracks and parks that are close by.
