We offer a beautiful 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home with an attached garage. Our main floor includes a bright open living room featuring a gas fireplace, and a large kitchen with garden doors that lead out to a back deck and large, treed yard. On the main level you will find 2 bedrooms both with double size beds, and one master bedroom with a king size bed and ensuite. The basement is newly renovated with a beautiful Wet Bar, entertainment room with a big screen television, a large fourth bedroom, full bathroom, and laundry room. We have two small children, which makes it a great option for families as we have many toys, and backyard play structures. Our home is situated in a quiet crescent in the small town of Strathmore. This town of 11,000 + people offers several grocery stores, an indoor swimming pool facility, Curling Rink, Hockey Arena, Golf course (as well as several within minutes of town), and many good dining choices. We are approximately 30 kilometers from the city limits of Calgary where you can spend countless hours shopping and exploring, or in a short, scenic 1.5 hours drive you can visit the town of Banff where you can enjoy hiking and skiing in the mountains, then spend the evening shopping and dining in the beautiful townsite. If you prefer the quiet backcountry you can take a short 45 minute drive to Kananaskis Country where you will be surrounded by the natural beauty of the mountains, and many lakes for fishing and boating. Our region of Canada offers beautiful, warm, long summer days, and in winter the majestic, cool, snowy weather that is perfect for a day of skiing, snowshoeing, skating, or building snowmen in the yard, or simply snuggling up next to a fire with a warm hot cocoa, and watching the snowflakes fall from the sky.
