OUR APARTMENT WILL BE AVAILBLE FROM 31ST MAY 07 ONWARD AND WE ARE HAPPY TO EXCHANGE (SIMULTANOUS OF NON-SIMULTANEOUS)FOR ANY LENGTH OF TIME FROM A FEW DAYS TO A FEW WEEKS DURING OUR STAY IN EUROPE IN , FROM JUNE TO SEPTEMBER. we are open for offers regarding the location.


THE HOME: Brand new, three bedroom top floor apartment in a group of six with a lift in arguably the most popular metropolitan beach suburb of Adelaide. All new modern furniture, modern kitchen and two bathrooms. Four wheel drive vehicle [Toyota Landcruiser], and some camping equipment is included. The apartment is five minutes walk to the beach, cafes, 7 day trading shops and amusement complex.

THE CITY OF ADELAIDE: is a 15 minutes tram ride from the apartment. North Terrace in the centre of the city is the location of the museum, art gallery, library, university, wine museum, festival centre and the entrance to the botanic garden. Just around the corner is the zoo and the river all within walking distance of each other and the city shopping mall which is open seven days a week. A short walk from the mall is a large food market for lovers of fresh food, vegetable, fish and meat, plus china town. There are many eating strips in and around the city. There are yearly events such as the Clipsal 500 car race, the tour down under (cycle race) and the horse trials all staged within walking distance of the shopping area.

SOUTH AUSTRALIA (Population 1.5 million) TOURIST ATTRACTIONS INCLUDE: many costal beaches and towns within a few minutes to one hour drive from the apartment. A Thirty minute drive to the hills with several small towns including the German town of Handorf. Four hours drive to the great Australian outback (Flinders Range) where four-wheel driving is a must. An hour way is the Barossa Valley and the Clare wine regions, famous for wine tasting and eating. Melbourne and the snow resorts (June - August) are a 50 minute flight away, an eight hour car journey or over night bus ride, and Sydney is just less than two hours flying time away.
