Here’s a photo of us enjoying a dinner of Dungeness crab in a small restaurant in Nanaimo, on Vancouver Island, Canada. We were exchanging our home in Noosa, Queensland with Neil & Betty MacLean on Vancouver Island in October 2007. We were trying / comparing the fine fare on Vancouver Island with the standards set in Noosa, Australia’s iconic beach and gourmet food destination.
This was first Homelink exchange and we are now (2008-2009) on a series of home exchanges pursuing our penchant for exotic locations, friendly, comfortable accommodation and fine food and wine in Mexico and the wine regions of northern California.
